Orlando Ranks High on List of Best Cities for Jobs in 2018

Orlando comes in at 6th place in Forbes’ annual ranking

Here’s some positive news for job seekers in the Orlando-area market: The City Beautiful ranks among the best cities for jobs in 2018, according to Forbes.

The business magazine put the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford region at No. 6 on its newly released annual “best cities for jobs” ranking, which compares the nation’s 71 largest metropolitan statistical areas on short-, medium- and long-term job creation as well as slowing or accelerating growth. Metros with non-farm employment of more than 450,000 workers were considered in the ranking.

In addition to Orlando, the top five metros for jobs were Dallas; Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tenn.; San Jose, Calif.; and Charlotte, N.C., respectively. The full rankings can be found here.
