Michelin Guide adds more Orlando restaurants
Last year, the Michelin Guide made its debut in Florida, awarding a Michelin star to four restaurants, placing seven restaurants in the “Bib Gourmand” designation, and including 23 as recommended restaurants.
This April, Michelin announced that eight more Orlando area restaurants would be included for the first time in the 2023 edition of the Michelin Guide. Whether these restaurants will be given a star, designated as Bib Gourmand, or simply added as a recommended restaurants will be announced on May 11. Among the new entries are the newly opened Otto’s High Dive in the Milk District, standing sushi bar Edoboy, and the fine-dining Filipino restaurant Kaya.
Currently in The Community Paper’s coverage area, the following are included in Michelin’s Bib Gourmand category, which recognizes good value as well as good quality: Strand, Z Asian, Papa Llama, and Domu.
