Creative City Project is This Weekend!
You won’t want to miss this night of unexpected experiences! This year’s annual Creative City Project is this weekend! You can get up close and personal with artists like never before. Creative City Project 2015 “removes the barriers between art and you”.
Fans of Creative City Project in years past were treated to a new use of our downtown. Orlando’s hot concrete sidewalks softened a bit to nurture artistic expression. Art and music got a chance to blossom.
This year, Creative City Project takes over downtown and the number of artists is bigger than before. Artists in all disciplines will line Orange Avenue, performing in settings that allow audiences to see their art up close and personal.
La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil, Orlando Ballet, Central Florida Community Arts Orchestra, Orlando City Soccer Club, Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, a 1000 student marching band, the Downtown Arts District, and dozens of other artists and performers bring the streets of Downtown Orlando to life on October 17, 2015.
Find yourself immersed in the music of an orchestra. Stand in awe as a performer from Cirque du Soleil flies just above your head. See visual art come to life before your very eyes. Encounter hundreds of interesting and unusual surprises throughout the city’s streets and public places.
Gather your friends and family for a night of your life. The event takes place throughout Downtown Orlando tomorrow from 6-11pm. Admission is FREE!
