Maitland Real Estate

As the area grows in popularity, real estate grows with it. There are new developments all over the area for those looking to either build a new home or move into a new area. That said, Maitland is also known for its historic architecture and there are plenty of homes in the area that showcase just that. Maitland is one of the oldest suburban neighborhoods in Central Florida. Many of the homes built when Maitland began to grow in 1873 are still standing and occupied today.

Maitland is also a perfect neighborhood for waterfront living. The area is situated on four large lakes with smaller lakes scattered between. Lake Minnehaha is one of the largest near the area and has some of the most beautiful homes in its Dommerich Estates community. Here, homes prices range from the most affordable around $250k to million-dollar custom homes on the water.

It’s likely that even if your home isn’t situated on water, you’ll be within walking distance to a great fishing or swimming area. The Stonehill community is right off the main road of Maitland Boulevard and situated between two smaller lakes, Lake Seminary and Lake Faith. This gives residents not only convenient access to the city of Maitland and Downtown Orlando, but also an escape from noise and excitement in the residential area.
